Helpful Hints

Contact your buyer's mortgage broker and make sure that their lender allows gift programs.

Have your client complete a grant application.  It costs nothing and gets them registered with us.

Before writing the contract, call an appraiser who will give you a verbal fair market value on the property.

Read the sample contract cover letter and adapt to your style and letterhead.

Once Seller agrees to terms, fax the Seller Commitment Letter to the Listing Agent.

Once the property has appraised and you are proceeding with the transaction, complete the worksheet immediately and fax it to us.

HOME takes it from there and will submit title instructions accordingly.

MISSION BRANCH is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is committed to maximizing the potential of all people.  MISSION BRANCH-HOME Grant is a "branch" of MISSION BRANCH that is committed to affordable housing.  Referred to as HOME (Home Ownership and Mortgage Education), our nonprofit accomplishes this mission in two ways:

Empowering real estate industry professionals by providing education and technology that enhances the experience of their profession and their results.
