H.O.M.E How Does The Program Work

MISSION BRANCH--HOME Grant program is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that enables Buyers to purchase homes using the grant program. Both first time homebuyers, repeat homebuyers, and investors are eligible to receive grants.

Regulations prohibit a Seller from directly giving a Buyer the money to make a down payment. Therefore, the Seller contributes monies to the nonprofit as a service fee. These service fees fund grants.

A nonprofit organization "gifts" the homebuyer the down payment and the closing costs. This "gift" does not have to be repaid by the buyer. Many times the Nonprofit organization is the seller. The grant for Down-Payment is then a "Gift of Equity".

Everyone walks away from this transaction a winner.

Referred to as HOME (Home Ownership and Mortgage Education), our nonprofit accomplishes this mission in two ways:

Empowering real estate industry professionals by providing education and technology that enhances the experience of their profession and their results.

Fostering home ownership by providing down payment and closing cost assistance to potential homeowners, investors, and those who are committed to creating affordable housing opportunities.
