How Rent to Own works:

We locate a property investor who is willing to mentor a family by purchasing a home that meets the families financial and personal criteria.

The investor then rents that home to the family for up to one year with the understanding that the family will be working a credit repair program to ultimately qualify to purchase the home from the investor at the same price the investor purchased it for.

 

  • You fill out the Grant Application.
     

  • We pull a Credit Report and try to get you pre qualified because our first priority is to try to get you in a home on your own.
     

  • If their credit along with the down payment grant will not qualify them. Then we have an investor step in and mentor our Rent to Own.
     

Rent to Own – 7 Advantages
 

1)  Credit Repair.  You have the opportunity to rebuild and clean up your credit so that you can qualify for a good loan!*
2) Own Your Own Home. You can enjoy the benefits of owning your home before you actually buy it! No more renting and moving, you can have this house as your own.
3) Financial Stability.  Homeowners are more financially stable and you can build equity in your house to be used with future financial goals (new car, college, etc).
4) No Up Front Bank Qualifying.  Homeownership is made easy and hassle free by going through how the process works step-by-step with the investor.
5) Flexibility.  You have the OPTION to buy your home, not the obligation! You can buy anytime during the Rent To Own term.**
6) Improving Your Property.   Because you will own this property soon, any improvements you do that increase the value of the property help you build more equity for yourself.
7) Rent Credits (if applicable).   Each month a chunk of your rent goes toward the purchase of your home, allowing you to build equity in your home faster than a traditional mortgage - no more wasting money on rent!

 

* Note: There are no promises of successful credit repair. Each individual is responsible for paying their bills on time and following through with credit repair techniques. We cannot guarantee you will qualify for a loan during this time. Your future payment once you buy the house may be higher than the current rental amount. We cannot predict what your future payments will be upon the purchase of the property as interest rates, credit scores, employment, and financial situations change.
